Hi Rowan,

Guess your mirror tag saying maven to look only in
http://intare:8080/nexus/content/groups/public .

<settings>

  <profiles>
    <profile>
      <id>OpenMRS</id>
      <activation>
        <activeByDefault>true</activeByDefault>
      </activation>
      <repositories>
        <repository>
          <id>openmrs-repo</id>
          <name>OpenMRS Nexus Repository</name>
          <url>
http://mavenrepo.openmrs.org/nexus/content/repositories/public</url>
        </repository>
      </repositories>
      <pluginRepositories>
        <pluginRepository>
          <id>openmrs-repo</id>
          <name>OpenMRS Nexus Repository</name>
          <url>
http://mavenrepo.openmrs.org/nexus/content/repositories/public</url>
          <snapshots>
            <enabled>false</enabled>
          </snapshots>
        </pluginRepository>
      </pluginRepositories>
    </profile>
  </profiles>
 <mirrors>
  <mirror>
    <id>nexus</id>
    <mirrorOf>central</mirrorOf>
    <url>http://intare:8080/nexus/content/groups/public</url>
  </mirror>
</mirrors>

</settings>

the above settings.xml will also help in looking openmrs.maven.repo.
Hope this helps :)
