ok... this has happened to a few people on Ubuntu packaged jetty. As can be seen from the warnings in your pastebin: 2011-09-11 12:11:38.866:INFO::NO JSP Support for , did not find org.apache.jasper.servlet.JspServlet
For some reason, Jetty doesn't provide JSP support in some distributions of jetty on Linux like tomcat or others. I can't recommend a solution because I dont have a system that gives the error, but if you do a Google search and try out the solutions and then later post which one works... we can have that on our wikis --- Regards, Saptarshi PURKAYASTHA My Tech Blog: http://sunnytalkstech.blogspot.com You Live by CHOICE, Not by CHANCE On 12 September 2011 22:07, Santhosh Vairavan <[email protected]> wrote: > no not using jetty through maven i am using jetty by itself. > > On Mon, Sep 12, 2011 at 6:50 PM, Saptarshi Purkayastha > <[email protected]>wrote: > >> How have you been deploying to jetty?? >> Do you use mvn jetty:run or some other way?? >> >> --- >> Regards, >> Saptarshi PURKAYASTHA >> >> My Tech Blog: http://sunnytalkstech.blogspot.com >> You Live by CHOICE, Not by CHANCE >> >> >> On 12 September 2011 18:43, Santhosh Vairavan <[email protected]> wrote: >> >>> So this time i tried tomcat 6.0.28 instead of jetty and it worked.
