Here's what you'll need to run sockethl7listener with version 1.8.2 of OpenMRS:
1. chirdlutilbackports module 2. The "chirdlutil 1.7.x compatible" branch of the chirdlutil module 3. The "sockethl7listener 1.7.x compatible" branch of sockethl7listener These are currently in the testing stage against OpenMRS 1.7.x, and the branches have not yet been merged into trunk. This is why the current modules you're trying to load do not work with 1.8.2 Thanks, Steve From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Vikas Sharma Sent: Monday, September 26, 2011 8:04 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [OPENMRS-DEV] Query on HL7 interface on OpenMRS Hi Community, I am new to OpenMRS and am trying to get/push HL7 messages from Mirth Connect. My setup has ver OpenMRS 1.8.2 Standalone (with demo data). >From the OpenMRS website, I came to know that here are multiple interfaces >(OpenMRS modules) that can possibly integrate with Mirth 1. Mirth Messaging Module - https://modules.openmrs.org/modules/view.jsp?module=mirthmessaging 2. Rest Web Services Module - https://modules.openmrs.org/modules/view.jsp?module=webservices.rest 3. sockethl7listener - https://modules.openmrs.org/modules/view.jsp?module=sockethl7listener Out of these, I have Ruled out #1 as it is only one way communication to mirth.(i.e from OpenMRS to Mirth but not the reverse) Ruled out #2 - Though it is working, I do not want to go via REST as its responses are not HL7 based. I think the *only* suitable interface that meets my requirements is with #1 (sockethl7listener). However, I am facing installation problems with it as it does not even get added as a module. It depends on another module "chirdlutil" which when added, throws many DB schema errors ... I have pasted these errors at http://pastebin.com/k59Jfkrh Both these modules are last modified by Tammy Dugan (tmdugan) - Any idea how I could reach tmdugan? Can anyone guide me how to get these errors resolved? Has anyone able to work with these modules? If so, please share the OpenMRS version details etc. Also, please let me know of any alternate approach to interface with OpenMRS via HL7? Thanks!
