Unfortunately, I don't know exactly which version of the module i used, but it
was likely to be 0.8 something... I will look into making a 0.9/0.10
compatible version when I get back from vacation.

In the meantime, I would definitely try the suggestion Darius made to restart
tomcat...

Mark

Subject: Re: [OPENMRS-DEV] MDRTB 2.1.8 - Error importing metadata package

As a side comment, I believe there may be some issue with MDS and the spring
application context, where if you get Class-related exceptions, you should try
restarting tomcat and re-importing.

That's unfortunate - Mark might remember what version he used.

@Rafal - the version number of the metadatasharing module used to create a
package seems like something we should definitely be putting into the header of
the generated XML.

Thanks Mike. I'm not sure how to figure out which version was used to create
the package. I scanned the xml files from the package but they don't seem to
have this information. Thus far I have tried with versions 0.8.1.6 and 0.9.0.2
both of which gave me the exact same error. Also tried with 0.1, which gets
further than the other two but then gives me a ConcurrentModificationException
(see attached stack trace) during the import. I have also attached the files I
had sent with my original email since those didn't get forwarded along this
email. The files are prefixed with the relevant version numbers.

Thanks again,
Ali

Hi Ali,
Copying the dev list since this might be a metadatasharing issue that others
might be able to help with. Can you try using the exact same version of the
metadatasharing module that the package was created with and see if that helps?

Hi Mark,

I was just installing the latest mdrtb omod (2.1.8) using the PIH dictionary.
I'm trying to import the metadata package (v.2.1.8) using the link from the
Wiki. It initially gave me an error about being unable to parse a date. I
compared the header.xml in this package to previous metadata packages I've used
and the difference was that there was a timezone specified in the dateCreated
element in other packages. I added an EDT to the value of the dateCreated
element in the header.xml file from the 2.1.8 metadata package and tried again.
Now I'm getting a different error. See screenshot and stacktrace attached.

I'm using metadatasharing module 0.8.1.6. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Ali
