Hello- I've updated the Id Cards module in SVN. The PDF generator will read an Apache FOP configuration file, if one is specified in the new global property idcards.fopConfigFilePath. I've also upgraded the Apache FOP library to version 1.0 and added its supporting jars.
I wanted to print names in a Cambodian font. I had to do some configuration outside of OpenMRS, and updated the code to read the configuration. I know several sites use the ID Cards module. Would one of you be willing to beta test my module before it's released? I believe there's no impact on your sites, but I didn't have a real life before-and-after to test with. We will both sleep easier if you could verify it with one of your own templates. The change set is at https://source.openmrs.org/changelog/Modules?cs=24128 . There are several steps required to use a custom font. The open source library that renders the PDFs makes these steps necessary. I wish it were simpler, but it's not.
