At the recent OpenMRS Implementers Meeting we discussed the possibility of moving OpenMRS from SVN to Git. We agreed at the end that we should try migrating one popular module to see how that process goes and see what problems arise, and someone suggested HTML Form Entry
Some of the students on our training course are going to making some modifications to this module - a process which will be considerable easier to manage using Git so we'd like to do the migration as soon as possible. We've heard from most of the developers of this module that we can go ahead - so this is a last chance for anyone to raise an objection or check in any un-committed code. The project will copied in it's entirety (i.e. complete history) to github.com and development will continue from there.
