Hello- The changes in OpenMRS 1.9 may cause some bugs with modules. We'd like to discover incompatibilities during the alpha release so they can be addressed before the final release, and so implementers can know whether an upgrade will affect their site.
We are asking module developers to test their modules against the 1.9 Alpha release. We encourage implementers to test the modules that your sites rely on. Could you take 30-60 minutes to try your most critical modules in the 1.9 Alpha standalone? We each use a different mix of modules and OpenMRS features. The more community joins in testing, the more confident we can be that modules are well tested, and that upgrades will go smoothly. One of the standalones includes test data, to save you setup time. Please add your notes to https://wiki.openmrs.org/display/docs/OpenMRS+1.9+Module+Testing . There are spaces for all of the bundled modules plus the most downloaded modules. You can add any additional modules that you use.
