Haciendo redirect definitamente va perder los datos (porque esta haciendo
un client-side-redirect en vez de cargar el view con el model alimentado
por el controller).

Doing a redirect will definitely lose the data (since it's doing a
client-side redirect instead of loading the view with the model built by
the controller).
