Hi Implementers and Developers, For the next two weeks (Dec 12 - 23), we are going to be doing a "documentation sprint." We have two primary goals:
1. Improve the OpenMRS Implementers Guide<http://en.flossmanuals.net/openmrs-guide/> that we wrote at the Google-sponsored book sprint a couple months ago, and update it to be current for our upcoming 1.9 release. 2. Reorganize our existing documentation, and write new content, for the new doc organization <https://wiki.openmrs.org/x/TQw3AQ> Paul took the lead on. We're very excited to have access to two professional technical writers, courtesy of CDC (thanks!) who will be working on the sprint, but as you are all intimately aware, we have lots of documentation work to do. We need the whole community's help! If you will have any time in the next week to contribute to documentation, we can use you. - Can you write content, aimed at implementers or developers? - Can you review content for accuracy? - Can you review content for grammar? Join us on IRC <https://wiki.openmrs.org/display/IRC/Home> at 10am ET on Monday Dec 12, or if you can't make it then, just contact Ben or I via email! -Darius _________________________________________ To unsubscribe from OpenMRS Developers' mailing list, send an e-mail to [email protected] with "SIGNOFF openmrs-devel-l" in the body (not the subject) of your e-mail.
