Its been a while since we put out a call for folks to join one of the sprints <https://wiki.openmrs.org/display/RES/Sprint+Schedule>. Next week will be kind of a hodge-podge of almost-finished tasks. I'm calling it the "Get Stuff Done" sprint<https://wiki.openmrs.org/display/RES/2012-01-16+Development+Sprint>. We have 95% functionality on several different tools and have a goal of releasing those out to the community:
1.9 beta <https://wiki.openmrs.org/display/RES/Release+Notes+1.9.0+Beta>was released almost a month ago, fix anything reported from that so we can release an RC. The Atlas module <https://wiki.openmrs.org/display/docs/Atlas+Module> has a few tweaks needed before its ready to go live and start collecting information The Smart Container module<https://wiki.openmrs.org/display/docs/Smart+Container+Module>has only a few tickets to complete and needs to be packaged, released, and announced. The Rest Web Services module<https://wiki.openmrs.org/display/docs/Webservices.rest+Module>has some bugs found in the alpha release. These need to be squashed and the module needs to be released as a beta, RC, or 1.0 depending on an analysis during the sprint. If you want to join us for 1, 2, or 10 tickets just add your name to the sprint wiki page<https://wiki.openmrs.org/display/RES/2012-01-16+Development+Sprint>and pick out a ticket.
