Sorry... just getting this now... I won't be able to pull a Git presentation
together in the next hour!

For what it's worth, I also need to do a little more experimenting with Git
because I've primarily been using it as a single-user so far... I plan to do
this over the weekend and write up my notes for the sprint... ideally, I'd have
done it this week but we are in crunch time here with finishing up our patient
registration module before the team heads down to Haiti next week.

That would be a brilliant idea...the only OpenMRS University call before the
sprint starts is tomorrow. It's scheduled for "Importing data into OpenMRS",
but that can definitely wait if Mark can present on Git + HTML Form Entry.

Mark?

Would it help to have an OpenMRS University focused on "Git for OpenMRS

I want to remind everyone that we will be having an Html Form Entry module
sprint starting next week and running for two weeks. I encourage you all to
take this opportunity to learn more about the workings of the Html Form Entry
module and to contribute toward its development.

I will setting up a project dashboard with notes/instructions over the weekend,
but a preliminary list of the tickets that we plan to take on can be found here:

https://tickets.openmrs.org/secure/IssueNavigator.jspa?reset=true&jqlQuery=project+%3D+HTML+AND+fixVersion+%3D+%22HTML+Form+Entry+1.9.0%22+AND+resolution+%3D+Unresolved+AND+assignee+is+EMPTY+ORDER+BY+priority+DESC&mode=hide

For anyone who wants a head start getting up to speed on the module, I suggest
checking out the Html Form Entry wiki, and specifically the technical overview,
found here:

https://wiki.openmrs.org/display/docs/HTML+Form+Entry+Module

https://wiki.openmrs.org/display/docs/HTML+Form+Entry+Module+Technical+Overview

Also note that the Html Form Entry project is stored at Github, so this will be
a good opportunity for us all to get experience collaborating using Git. I
plan to talk more about this in the notes I write up over the weekend, but you
can read about configuring your IDE to use Git near the bottom of this page:

https://wiki.openmrs.org/display/docs/Migrating+to+Git

Hope to have you all working with us next week!

Take care,
Mark
