Hello Devs, I am Aashish Mittal, a student of Computer Engineering from India, and I will be trying to participate in GSoC 2012 with OpenMRS as my mentoring organization.
I have gone through the initial steps of development and after getting the build working, I started solving some tickets. I have worked on 2801<https://tickets.openmrs.org/browse/TRUNK-2801>, 2450 <https://tickets.openmrs.org/browse/TRUNK-2450>, 2800<https://tickets.openmrs.org/browse/TRUNK-2800> and RCM-69 <https://tickets.openmrs.org/browse/RCM-69> initially and will try to solve some more soon. I went through OpenMRS project list<https://wiki.openmrs.org/display/RES/Summer+Of+Code+2012>for this years GSoC and am planning to explore development on 'Filtering Forms on Dashboard<https://wiki.openmrs.org/display/projects/Filtering+Forms+on+Dashboard+%28Design+Page%29>' project. I have started with a basic analysis of the project and taking help of the guidelines mentioned on the page, I have prepared an initial draft <https://wiki.openmrs.org/display/~ashishmittal/Form+Filter> of the project plan. I will be updating this page as I interact with the developers, based on their requirements and suggestions and the progress I make on this feature. I would be happy to hear from the community about their thoughts on this project, any suggestions/improvements on the draft and any ideas which might help make this project a success.
