Dear hopeful GSoC mentors (and other interested parties) -- We are rapidly approaching the close of organization applications for Google Summer of Code 2012. The application window closes tomorrow (Friday). Next week, Google will review the applications and announce the accepted organizations on March 16.
Have you added your projects to our GSoC page at http://go.openmrs.org/soc2012 ? By Friday, please review your project idea pages (and create one if necessary) to make sure there is a basic summary of the project. This doesn't have to be a final description, but rather an initial concept so Google can give a quick review to see if we have enough reasonable projects for the number of students we request. In the next 2 weeks (should we be accepted!) we can further revise the project deliverables. Mentors, you should also work with your student applicants to ensure the scope is reasonable and able to be successfully accomplished. If you would like community feedback on your project ideas, please use the dev or implementers mailing lists. Thanks for your continued support!
