Anything specific you want to do?
You could help out on:
- Corpus Server
- Tagging Server
- Web UI

It would be great to have this move forward!
Just wondering -- perhaps we could create a page with descriptions of
work
units that could be done, starting with some relatively contained ones
related to this one? We could then start pointing folks to that page and
maybe get some new developers interested.

Jorn,
What would it take to get the corpus server running once we have
everything working? Would we have to host outside of apache? Or do
we/they have the resources to host such a project?
Sorry, if my curiosity is too early for the project... but, we may
want
to start asking around for some answers as to how we will proceed with
this....
I am currently using the Corpus Server with the eclipse based tooling
in an annotation project, but there are still a few features that are
missing.
After the migration to OSGi the installation is now more difficult,
because
all the dependent bundle must be installed into the OSGi server
before it
can be started. I should write a small how-to which explains how to
install
it and how to get started with it.
Not sure, if we will be able to host here at Apache, but I would prefer
this.
If you want to help out you are welcome, there are lots of things to
do.
We still need to improve the wikinews importer, we need to work on the
web ui, we need to implement a Tagging Server to expose OpenNLP to
our web
ui
and we need some kind of server to manage our users.
The tagging server could be used for our online demo. Maybe that is
a nice
motivation
to get started.
