Are you aware of the work which was done with IKVM?

There is a wiki page describing it here:
https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/OPENNLP/Introduction+to+using+openNLP+in+.NET+Projects

Maybe it is worth testing with the latest version and see were we stand. At the time the wiki page was written, there was a bug with the XML parser. Not sure how the situation is today. It might also be worth reporting
those bugs to IKVM so they can fix them at some point.

Didn't someone do a C# port already? Not sure if the project is active but
there might be some learnings there.

Hi,

first I would like to thank this team that developed the library, I need
to
say it has lots of cool stuff :)

I'm working on a independent port of the OpenNLP to C#, I wonder if I need
to add anything else to the readme or license or if the information is
enough.

Any comments and suggestions are welcomed

Thanks
