   <h2>Changes in Version 17.3.4</h2>
   <p><strong>Text model and inspector</strong> (CR-046, CR-050).</p>
   <ul>
   <li>A new package, <code>org.docx4j.model.text</code>, gives a document's
text in accepted, original or CriticMarkup views, paying
   special attention to the areas which trip up other extraction systems (which
include bound content controls,
   <code>altChunk</code>s, and <code>mc:AlternateContent</code>).
<code>TextUtils</code> is deprecated in its favour. Markdown export now writes
the text
   model, and HTML export marks tracked changes.</li>
   <li>The inspector reports where a document's text diverges from what a
person sees: white or tiny text, glyph swaps,
   hidden content in HTML chunks, and the text pictures draw, with counts an
extraction can carry in its metadata.</li>
   </ul>
   <p><strong>Alternate content read as Word reads it</strong> (CR-051, CR-052,
CR-049). Block, row and cell level <code>mc:AlternateContent</code>
   is admitted everywhere the schema allows and resolved on load as Word does,
or kept whole in <code>preserve</code> mode
   (<code>docx4j.jaxb.mc.onLoad</code>), which will become the default at
17.4.0.</p>
   <p><strong>HTML chunks as Word reads them</strong> (CR-053). HTML, XHTML and
MHT chunks are parsed by jsoup with the CSS Word applies
   and written without the XML declaration Word refuses. The text model and the
converter read them through
   ImportXHTML, and the inspector reports what their styles hide.</p>
   <p><strong>Packaging.</strong> <code>docx4j-bundle</code> gains diffx,
digsig and markdown. A second fat jar, <code>docx4j-bundle-extras</code>,
carries PDF output. The zip distributions end at 17.3.3.</p>
   <p>Plus miscellaneous fixes.</p>
