mmh ... which language is it possible? I'm not total sure I understand you correctly. I would not necessarily generate controls at runtime by Basic, but access to existing controls by Basic, eg Read values or initiate actions. So I want to use this area much like a normal Basic dialog. Why would that be good? Because it would be possible in certain cases to dispense with conventional non-modal dialogs. Greetings, Jörg
