I confirm the problem. As you write, it seems to be just cosmetic:
messages are posted correctly.
The forums machine seems to be operating normally.
There is some ongoing infrastructure work at the network level (for
example, thanks to Infra and Jan we restored the
http://user.services.openoffice.org/ alias last week, and the virtual
machine is now being renamed) so this could be a network glitch caused
by the reconfiguration. I'll try to get more information.
