Hello *,
I've located a very weird phenomenon on a few machines running OpenOffice.org 1.1.4.
If we use Fonts like "Times" or "Times New Roman" in the Templates (*.stw) every umlaut is shown as a his matching letter without the diaeresis or the e.g. as an s This behaviour occours only with temlate-documents.
The systems have sarge/testing running and the office was installed from a downloaded package in version 1.1.4, cause of the java-features. I have only problems with the european currency symbol .
The others can't type ,,,, and so on. It is only shown without the diaeresis as e.g. a,o,u,s,u.
If the documents were printed out, the letters are shown correctly, for that matter only the viewport seems to be responsible.
The Font is also shown correctly if the text is formatted bold. Everywhere else the fonts are shown also correctly, except OOo.
Does anybody know a reason for the problem.
I don't know what to do, respectively where to file a issue.
Thanks a lot.
