I want to compile OpenOffic in my Windows Box. In the requirements it
says that I should have The DirectX 9.0 SDK Update - (Summer 2004)
installed, but http://msdn.microsoft.com/directx/directxdownloads/
include now February 2005 version of DirectX. So can I use it, or
shall i search for Summer 2004?
There was an issue with Dec 2004 version of DirectX SDK and it was fixed
already (see http://qa.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=39743 ). I
believe it will work with the latest version of the library unless there
is a change in library layout.
I hope so too. Please report if you have problems using the latest
SDK. I would consider that a bug.
