Is it possible to add my options in the pop-up menu that appears when I right click on a word inside the Writer? (I am using add-on in Writer) any ideas?
Yes it's possible. You can use a ContextMenuInterceptor. Please read chapter 4.7.5 "Intercepting Context Menus" of the OpenOffice.Org 1.1 Developer's Guide. You can find the latest version of this Developer's Guide here:
