If you are talking about scaddins/analysis module, it's compilable without problems. If you are trying to compile OO.o from scratch, you should try ooo-build first [3]. (snip) [3] http://go-oo.org/

You also mention "VisualStudio 7". I don't know which version that means, but for compiling a 1.9.x version you really need Visual Studio .NET 2003.
But this is well documented in our build instructions for Windows.
