You have specified a non-null default value in the xcs entry, so that
will be used. Currently you have specified 'true'. For least surprise I
suggest to use the value as schema-default that yields the old behavior
(without your fix).
FYI: You can still set a different installation default in one of the
share/registry/.../Calc.xcu files.
