Hi list-members,
1) In my Hebrew version of Beta 2 on Linux, when I save a file and type
in the filename in the text area of the filepicker window, I can't see
the text that I type. The file is saved, with the name that I typed in,
but I can't see the text while I'm typing it. This only occurs in my
localized Hebrew version, not in my English version, which I've built
from the same code. This only occurs on Linux, not on Windows.
I've tried changing VCL.xcu, so that the "he" default fonts section is
identical to the "en-US" section. It didn't make a difference.
2) In what I think is a related problem, I don't see in the toolbar text
boxes the name of the currently active style, font, or font size. When I
click on the arrow to see the drop-down menus for these options, I can
see the menu entries (the various styles, fonts, fontsizes). But when I
select one, and the menu disappears, I don't see the selected fontname
(or size, or style), in the text area.
What's the problem here? Where would I look in the code to try to fix this?
