Now that OOo has decided to actually pursue a native Cocoa (not
Darwin) port of OOo for OS X, what are the first things to be done?
Is Eric H. heading up the restart?
One thing I would suggest is a that a short history of the OS X
porting be written that summarizes what's happened over the past few
years. This would help explain to new users/porters why no Cocoa
version exists already and why, apparently, the abstraction goals of
the 2.0 codebase didn't pan out (which is the last reason we heard
that a Cocoa port wasn't possible).
