I am working on converting the extensions wiki in Dokuwiki format to
twiki format. This is comparatively easy as I can read the Dokuwiki text
files into Writer, run a macro that writes out twiki text files. In my
quick look of Mediawiki I can't see how to import files into Mediawiki -
am I missing something?

Similarly if we want to create printed documentation from Mediawiki how
can we easily get a wiki space into Writer?

My preference would be to have a 'wiki' based on the Open Document
Format. That way we could use Writer directly to edit the files.

I am working on another project for the next 12 hours so will respond
with more detail after that.
