As you can see from my earlier question I thought about this too.
It's good to know that the used wiki implementation has this
functionality and we can use it later. My take is that we shouldn't
create an artifical structure but let the wiki grow first.
"Extensions" is a different story. I think "extensions" is worth an
incubator project. We might have to come up with a new name though.

maybe you have missed the longer discussion about the name for this new
incubator project. As i remeber correctly, we agreed on extension for
various reason and Laurent is working on an introduction. I have already
volunteered to change the name of the potentially conflicting cvs module
util/extensions.
Please let us go the best way with the best name for the new project
because of its visibility to our users and not the easiest way. The name
of the cvs module util/extensions is irrelevant and can be changed.
