And this is said about Symbols (I therefore did not download it (I've got XP SP2): This download contains all the symbol files for the DirectX release for Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows 2000, Windows XP, and Windows Server 2003. The Windows XP Service Pack 2 symbol files are located in the Platform SDK.
