So - the new icons are IMHO vastly better - partly because they are
implemented using a full alpha channel: on the other hand they look
hideous for the same reason: the 'insensitive' algorithm is really bad
with them; and our patch for that is not up-stream yet.
The new icon switching stuff is in 2.0.2 though; have a play.
