There seems to be a problem with the statusbar. My observation is that
it is shown when a progress bar is painted even if it is switched off.
This wouldn't be a problem if the status bar disappeared right after the
progress is finished but obviously this doesn't happen. If my
observation is right it would be a bug IMHO.
