almost a year ago, I announced that we started a project to get the OOo
(C/C++) code base warning-free, see
<http://www.openoffice.org/servlets/ReadMsg?list=dev&msgNo=14653>.
Today, I can announce that a large part of this project (CWS warnings01)
is right now being integrated into SRC680m173.
Hmm - I fear you need to "masterfix" to allow building with gpc.
Making: ../unxlngi6.pro/slo/gpc.obj
[...]
http://go-oo.org/tinderbox/warnings01/status.html
This is strange, as external/gpc/makefile.mk:1.3.18.1 contains
EXTERNAL_WARNINGS_NOT_ERRORS=TRUE, which should cause warnings not to be
treated as errors when building gpc. Can you make sure that you have
got the correct version of makefile.mk, and if yes provide me with a few
more log lines before the error occurs (I were not able to extract that
from the above tinderbox link, but am not really familiar with tinderbox).
My fault. Since the cws is no longer in new or ready for QA-state,
tinderbox doesn't know anymore about that cws... But I have the log on
disk.
If you mean the actual call of the compiler, it includes [...] -Wall
-Wextra -Wendif-labels -Werror [...]
The -Werror suggests that you most probably have a wrong version of
external/gpc/makefile.mk, one that does not include the line
EXTERNAL_WARNINGS_NOT_ERRORS=TRUE.
Is Sun building with gpc at all?
was left unanswered...
We are building gpc.
