All,

I noticed that when saving to OpenDocument format,
OpenOffice stores some images in original format (PNG, JPG), but
converts some formats such as BMP to PNG.

I am looking for a list of the image formats that are kept
and those that are converted (and what they are converted to).

Thanks for any help the group can provide.

Thanks,

Garnett

Hi,
if the graphic has not been modiefied and is
one of the following formats: eps, gif, jpg,
png, tif, wmf, emf, met, pct
then the graphic remains unchanged, otherwise
svg is stored for metafiles, gif for animated
bitmaps and png for normal bitmaps.
