The carriage return, end of paragraph character (MSWord uses "^p") is an importiant feature that the OpenOffice.Org folks should address which would aid in their bid to compete with the Giant Microsoft. How do I suggest such research? I can't find a similar feature in OpenOffice. Or any keyboard feature like this. A keyboard feature like this is helpful. A wee little bit of programming I think...I wish I knew how...
The reason I say this is that I edit a large amount of instant messages as do my friends. I've corporal tunnel syndrome, this bug effects me. Doing this by hand bites. Of this group I am othe only one who has migrated to Open Office, the rest stay with Word. I have copies of both softwares, I want to migrate to OpenOffice completely, although.
