we're going to participate for development, Georgian l10n & i18n in the

Very nice. I am sure you are well aware of an ongoing l10n of Georgian
NL. As always, you are free to join our efforts - I am sure your
contribution will be valuable to the project.

we're not going to intervene in the creating of Georgian part of OOo web
site in the Native Language Project (we can _complementary_ do it within
our local community as many countries does).

Of course you are free to build additional OOo local resource if you
feel it will be usefull to the community and we will be happy to
provide links to your resources provided your site does not contradict
exsiting community project.

For now i can not give myself permission to do that without presence of
the person from NL-ka project.Let us

I try to follow many OOo lists, but I also think that this is not the
right place for project-internal discussions.

It means, that we (for now as www.gia.ge community)
_ALREADY_:
1. express interest to be a Georgian l10n (NL was "reserved") team (strictly
followed OOo instructions)

As Charles noted, OOo instructions are to cooperate with l10n efforts
of existing official NL community to avoid duplication of work, as
well as improve the quality and community involvement on local builds.

2. send patches providing Georgian Language support (approved)
I have seen patch #43476 of Feb 2005. Oliver has fixed it in CWS.Thank
you. There are just minor changes needed.

3. translate 100% of UI
4. build full Linux RH FC5 installer 2.0.2 with _implemented_ Georgian UI
(Giomac)
5. build (Cygwin/tcsh) full Windows installer 2.0.3 (me - not yet with
Georgian)
and now we're testing translation

Again, you are free to accomplish your own l10n project, but inorder
for Georgian l10n of OOo to be integrated in official OOo CWS and
aitomatically distributed with all major distributions as well as be
available for download on OOo official site, you should join the l10n
project of Georgian NL. AS you know, Georgian NL has already localized
UI and part of UA and is now working on QA. I do not see any point in
working independently and dublicating work in an open community
project.

It means, that:
1. We have our l10n, i18n role and NOT going to "disturb" NL project. We're
going to work on development, l10n, i18n, preparation and publishing our own
and more specific documentation for local community. And yes, we'll be
happy to share our experience and it could be used by NL project.

Please cooperate. The community will benefit from it.

As Charles suggestedm let us keep this discussion at more apropriate
place and let us meet to discuss possible cooperation.

Regards,
Aiet Kolkhi
