Dear fellow developers, I'm sure most of you already know the OOo build bots:
http://ooo-staging.osuosl.org:8010/ (with more background & a HowTo in the wiki: http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Buildbot) In case you don't: give them a try, if you want to upstream or QA your code on platforms you personally don't have access to. Recently, the set of platforms became fairly complete, ranging from diverse Linux distributions to Windows, Solaris Sparc & x86, and MacOSX. If you have some machine cycles to spare: consider adding a build bot yourself. If your machine can build OOo, having it provide a build bot slave is almost trivial (http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Buildbot_Steps). This would be especially interesting for platforms not already represented (e.g. *BSD, OS/2, etc). Kudos to Mike, Prasad & all the others for setting this up!
