yes, as you said, I can't open the openoffice file with special characters in file name, for MS office, it can open the file with special characters, I guess OO doesn't support special characters as file name, but when I have an OO running on windows, if I chose open a file in the hard disk, I can open the file with special characters. looking forward to your guys thoughts zhaosheng 2007-03-23
