yes, I definitely think it's worth it. But please make it run automagically and unattended - just like the smoketest does. While we're at it, I think one of the Novell folks is currently working on having all unit tests run from a toplevel makefile. Running (and passing!) those should IMO also be a prerequisite for the QA handoff.
