Hi all. "Loading a new document hidden, then show after processing results in unstable OOo" - that's what I learned from browsing postings in ooforum (e.g.: Andrew in http://www.oooforum.org/forum/viewtopic.phtml?t=30787).
On the German user lists there is a recent thread that this might have changed (since 2.0.4?). Tests of users there state, that they could work that way, no reports of crashes so far.
