I've checked some and they're working.
If you wanna latest development version, you can always go to:
http://download.openoffice.org/680/
the "Download Source Archives" section have links for m239 (one
milestone older (say, a week or two) than the link you have.
Usually that page is updated, but the responsible for that is on vacations.
On CVS already there is m241, but the version you pointed is quite recent.
BTW, you should usually choose a tag instead of HEAD while downloading
it. You can download module OpenOffice2 with tag SRC680_m241, for instance.
SRC680 is the tree for OOo 2.x and m240 is the milestone (newest as of
now is m241).
