The RFE of assigning input localle to text is tracked as
http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=1035 (I suggest voting
for it).
Currently progress is blocked by problem, described in

paragraph indention is enlarged (as it is made in Microsoft Word).

Здравствуйте, уважаемые разработчики OpenOffice.Org! Почему
до сих пор OpenOffice.Org Writer хромает в отношении раскладок
клавиатуры и некорректно обрабатывает нажатие клавиши ²TAB⌡? Ведь и в
более простом текстовом процессоре, чем OpenOffice.Org Writer, в
AbiWord, уже давно, с первых релизов, была встроена возможность набора
текста в текущей раскладке клавиатуры. При наборе текста в AbiWord
(который так же многоплатформенен как и OpenOffice.Org Writer),
языковое свойство текста соответствует текущей раскладке клавиатуры.
Почему до сих пор этого не сделано в OpenOffice.Org Writer? Если же Вы
попросту не знаете как это сделать, почитайте исходные тексты AbiWord.
Кроме того, очень хотелось бы, чтобы при нажатии на клавишу ²TAB⌡
увеличивался абзацный отступ, как это реализовано в Microsoft Word,
начиная с версии Microsoft Word 97. Это очень удобно. А OpenOffice.Org
Writer ведёт себя в этом отношении как ребёнок. Или хотя бы добавьте
возможность настройки поведения OpenOffice.Org Writer при нажатии
клавиши ²TAB⌡, чтобы можно было в настройках программы выбирать, что
при нажатии клавиши ²TAB⌡ либо вставляется символ табуляции
(теперешнее поведение OpenOffice.Org Writer) или же чтобы при нажатии
клавиши ²TAB⌡ увеличивался абзацный отступ (как это сделано в
