Hello all, I am having a problem in trying to configure Open Office, in Windows XP, with Microsoft Visual Studio 2003 Professional installed. My problem pertains to issue 49856. Though the output clearly shows how to solve the problem, following it's advice does not work. I get the following error:
Some modules do not build correctly with MS Platform SDK - April 2005 Edition if the library (/cygdrive/c/Program Files/Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2003/Vc7/Lib/libcp.lib) is found. Remove/rename/backup that file and restart configure. Details about this problem can be found in issue 49856. But when I rename this file, or just remove it or put it elsewhere, configure throws up this error: configure:21185: error: Some (all?) PSDK files not found, please check if all needed Platform SDKs are installed or use --with-psdk-home. I found the thread on the archived mails which addressed this, but I could not use it to solve my problem. Any help appreciated, Eric.
