I needed 2:30 for installation and 1:50 for uninstall. I've done this on
a VMWare session with XP-SP2 configured with 512 MB Ram.
I would guess it might depend on some system configuration because you
are not the only one who has this effect. But we have no clue what
causes MSI to install that slow
