From logs it looks that these files were moved into xml subdir in the
past, but they were left at their original places too. Is there some
(maybe obscure) reason for it? Or were they simply forgotten to be
removed from there?

somebody must have moved these around years ago and forgot to remove the
old ones.
actually i remember removing the duplicates (and the corresponding cxx
files) in CWS xmlfix2.
maybe i only removed the .cxx files...
hmm, yes, it seems i forgot the headers...
you can remove the duplicate headers in your CWS if you like.
