I'd like to draw attention to issue 95496. This issue has severe consequences for all applications that open documents and templates via loadComponentFromUrl(). We have a custom launcher for templates and this issue is a showstopper for our deployment of OOo 3.0 under Linux (and therefore a showstopper for migrating those desktops from Windows to Linux that rely on the improved file locking of OOo 3. That's several 1000 installations!). So far no one has looked at this issue. It's important for our planning to at least know if this issue has any chances of being fixed in a reasonable timeframe.
