Hello *,

does OOo-Hambug build the GTK quickstart applet?

Both OOo 3.0 and DEV300_m36 build in Hamburg don't come with the plug-in
 library (/opt/openoffice.org/basis3.[0|1]/program/libqstart_gtkli.so),
and so there is no option under Tools - Options - OpenOffice.org -
Memory - OpenOffice.org Quickstarter - Enable systray Quickstarter.

There is no library but yes the desktop file
(/opt/openoffice.org3/share/xdg/qstart.desktop) that should be symlinked
 in the user dir (/home/[ariel]/.config/autostart/qstart.desktop).

On my own build, a configure with default options does build
sfx2/source/appl/shutdowniconunx.cxx, and it works [1].

Is there any reason why the "official" OOo does not come with the GTK
quickstart applet? or is this just an issue? or is this still in beta
state? [strangely sfx2/source/appl/shutdownicon.hxx and
sfx2/source/appl/shutdowniconunx.cxx don't have the license header]

Regards
Ariel

[1] works but not so good: when selecting "Enable systray Quickstarter"
on the "Options" dialog, this option is not made persistent:
- close the dialog
- re-open it
- this checkbox isn't selected anymore.
This is because there is some error when creating the symlink: the file
in the user dir. has 0 bytes.
symlinking by hand does solve the issue.
