It seems version 3.1 did not improve import wizard from csv files, namely,
there is no possibility to specify decimal and thousand separators in the
wizard window. We can specify that the column type is "US English", but it's
of no use.
In European countries there is a mix of rules what is the decimal and
thousands separator, e.g., in Lithuania standard separators are:
decimal - "," (comma)
thousands - " " (space)
However banks, stock exchange and other institutions may send documents
where decimal separator is "." (dot). this presents a big problem for us. I
saw similar problems were reported by users from Russia and other countries.
Could you please change csv text import wizard to have the possibility to
specify both decimal and thousands separators?
(Excel wizard has "advanced" button in where one can specify separators)
