good question, short answer is: this is not decided yet.

but we can start to determine this:

right now we have the following open cws, which are considered as UI
relevant for 3.4:

swundo4: "undo issues": est. due date Dec 31 2010
calcphonetic: "Add new built-in function PHONETIC, which displays
Japanese phonetic information
from a given text": est. due date: none
impressmedia01:"adding embedding of media files into presentation
documents", est. due date already in the past
os138: "Fieldmark implementation", due date already in the past
hccalc01 "reorganzing the calc function help pages": March 2011
writercompare01 "the writer document comparison feature" no due date
notes12: no due date
impressdefaults1: "renaissance: better defaults"
jl155: Extension dependencies": January 4th 2011
calcdatatables: no due date
findbar02: "find toolbar enhancements" January 7th 2011
impresshtmlex: January 10th 2011
calcishmakkica: "Add new spreadsheet functions and parameters according
to ODFF." November 2010
dv22: November 2010
pl08 "PDF Export": November 2010
hcshared29: February 2011

my question to all cws owner: are these targets and dates still
realistic ? Are there cws or planned cws which will be UI relevant.
I introduced also new EIS targets 3.5 and 4.0 (without having alrerady a
concrete plan for those releases in mind :-) ) so please also consider a
retarget of your 3.4 cws to a future release.

Please let us have a complete list of ui relevant cws and other 3.4
relevant cws in EIS by the end of this week, so that we are able to
start further planning,

Martin
