Hi, I am creating a customized keyboard which allows user to type on different editors including Open Office. I want to give typing support of language specific special characters on altGr + some key sequence(say 'AltGr + k ') , but Open Office writer does not allows to type when AltGr key is pressed. It is possible with other editors i.e. MS Word.
If I set IME to Indian Language i.e. Hindi or U.S English International then it is possible to type with AltGr key . When IME is set to Hindi then keyboard message sent to Open Office writer are different than messages sent without IME . We also tried to simulate the same keyboard messages as sent by IME to the Open Office writer but nothing is getting typed on writer. Can anybody help me about how the open office interprets the keyboard message with AltGr key pressed? How to solve my problem without changing IME?
