My main objection is that landuse is for large areas, to say big things like Residential, Commercial, Industrial, Agriculture. If this area is landuse anything, it's landuse=Aviation, because it is part of the airport property. If you want to say weather an area of about 20m is grass, flowerbeds, concrete, asphalt etc, then you probably want a surface tag. Of course, if you tag the roundabout as surface=grass, that implies that the road itself is made of grass, so you need a separate way inside the roundabout (or it could share the nodes) which is the grass. But personally, I really wouldn't bother. I'm going to delete the tag before tonight's planet dump.
