Hi, I have been working on a map generator similar to mkgmap but for Magellan for some time now. Now I decided to go public and there is now a Sourceforge project created at http://sf.net/projects/pymag where you can download the latest version. The program is called "osmmag" and is written in Python.
Some of the features are: * Can create maps for Magellan Meridian, Sportrack, Explorist and Triton series GPS devices from Magellan * The map generation is highly configurable using a Osmarender like XML rule file * Can generate POIs sorted in categories and sub-categories * Topographical maps can be created from any GDAL supported raster DEM file The latest release can be found at http://prdownloads.sf.net/pymag.
